I'm so happy you're here! As a professional trainer and instructor for over 28 years, I've seen and heard just about everything when it comes to the frustrations of getting in shape. I know what it's like to struggle with weight gain and not feel like "myself". I've also dealt with injuries that have set me back from doing what I love and know how that can affect emotional and mental health as well. As tough as these setbacks have been, they've given me the opportunity to learn what it takes to keep going and understand what others might be dealing with. I want to support and encourage you throughout your journey and offer you the tools you'll need to make changes to last a lifetime.
I'm a 45-year-old wife, mom to 5 kids and a new grandma too. I truly understand the challenges involved in balancing family, work and personal needs! I started teaching dance classes when I was young, then became certified to teach group fitness as a college freshman. A few years later, I graduated from Utah State University with my degree in Health Education. Throughout my career in fitness, I've earned several different certifications through AFAA, National Academy of Sports Medicine, Yoga Fit, Peak Pilates, Zumba, Beachbody, and Les Mills to name just a few. Additionally, I am a NASM certified Nutrition Coach. Through experience I've found that the "secret sauce" to fat loss is regular resistance training paired with wholesome, balanced nutrition.
